Undergraduate Housing at Mount Mary
Living on campus in Caroline Hall is a great way to make new friends, have convenient access to campus events and facilities, and enjoy the beauty of our park-like campus. Plus in the winter you don’t even have to go outside to class — you can take the warm, underground tunnel from the residence hall to other buildings on campus.
Priority is given to students with full-time undergraduate status. If you are a first-year student enrolling directly from high school, you are required to live on campus, unless you are living at home with your parents or immediate family.
First Year Live-On Requirement
All first-time first-year undergraduate students, enrolled full-time, who are younger than 20 years of age by the first day of classes and live further than 30 miles from Mount Mary University's campus are required to live on campus.
Exceptions are rare, but if you believe you have extenuating circumstances, you may submit a written request to waive this requirement. Your letter should explain your situation and, if applicable, include documentation to support your request. Please submit the First Year Residency Requirement Exemption Form and it will be reviewed by Residence Life & Housing. Reach out to Director of Student Life & Housing Markie Hopkins for questions (hopkinsm@mtmary.edu).
